Sherlock Holmes management had an extraordinary  challenge as record amounts of stock were going missing on a daily, it was a known area for pic pockets and anti social behaviour. The museum didn't have a functional CCTV system in place so as a result manned security guards were unable to see all parts of the shop.

Dtslondon after 4 months tendering stage proposed an amazing solution for sherlock Holmes museum providing a total of 8 IP cameras in ultra hd cameras located strategically inorder to provide an overview of entire store as well as key areas of expensive stock and memorabilia.

Sherlock Holmes museum had some reservations regarding aesthetic so Dts customised colours of cameras in order for it to blend in with the aesthetic of the museum. Camera positions were installed as a deterrent as well in positions allowing best view for the security team. Following Dtslondon ultra hd IP installation at sherlock Holmes Dtslondon has assisted with more than 200 arrest since 2016 and recently a TV programme made by channel 5 on pick pocketing at sherlock Holmes museum was able to use footage directly from our recorder for the TV programme.  Link below shows an example of the TV programme and how easily identified perpetrators and criminals were spotted using the newly installed CCTV system. In addition to the exceptional ultra hd images provided by the newly installed system sherlock Holmes museum now have the ability for footfall count, behaviour analytics and face recognition alerts.
