St George's Hanover Church

St George's hanover church is one England oldest churches located in the heart of Mayfair London. It boast to have a much wider audience as several thousand tourists come into church for a prayer.

Dtslondon were tasked to provide additional security for the church as its aging CCTV was failing. Image quality was poor and the burger found it extremely difficult to use the DVR for playback and etc. The church had 4  cameras on analogue using coax cable. Locations of some of the cameras were questionable and church did not have a peripheral view of church but just footage of certain sections which was hard to recognise  due to the failing old system.

St George's Hanover had a big refurbishment in 2018 with extension to its basement area and after 5 years of tendering we won the opportunity to improve one of Londons iconic churches by designing and recommending an exceptional system which would provide ultra hd images as well as futures proofing any future requirements.

With planned meetings and discussions with the church we installed total of 9 cameras with 5 new angles covered. Pre existing analougue system was changed to ultra hd IP system with motorised lenses and 2 ptz cameras inorder to provide an unrivalled performance of seeing any required location in church minising any blind spots.  The remaining 7 cameras were fixed lense providing a peripheral view of entry and exit with a specified camera focused on areas if high risk and concern to the church. One of the churches biggest concerns were the aesthetic of the churches interior design after our installation due to our cameras being white and clashing with the brown interior so Dtslondon customised all cameras in order to blend in with the aesthetic of the church.

A full comprehensive training and handover was provided to the church data controllers as well Gdrp compliance guide lines provided to church. Church staff were extremely delighted when they were easily trained on how to use a much user friendly system meaning that everyone trained now knew how to operate system easily. Images were exceptional as Virger and church data controllers were now able to recognise some of the visitors and congregation from a glance of the CCTV monitor in church office. Footage and storage length was increased by 22 days and all coax cables replaced to shielded cat 6 cable. The ptz cameras now allows church to have full coverage and a much improved security system as there are now 0 blind spots in the church.
